- Connected a scan tool and found code P0301 – Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected. Viewed live misfire data on the scan tool at idle and at 2,000 RPM, and found a high number of misfire counts on cylinder #1. Performed an inspection of the ignition system and found no obvious faults. Attached an inline spark tester to Ignition Coil #1, ran the engine, Removed Ignition Coil #1, performed an inspection and found the Ignition Coil to be faulty. Customer Declined Repairs at this time.
