- AUTO TRANSMISSION SERVICE. INCLUDES; DRAIN AND FILL, CHECK FLUID LEVEL AND TEST DRIVE.
- CLEAN AND ADJUST REAR BRAKES
- Confirmed customer's complaint and found vehicle did stall intermittently. Connected a scan tool and found code P2119 – Throttle Actuator Control Throttle Body Range/Performance. Used the scan tool to command the electronic throttle control motor open and found the motor was responsive, but the throttle plate did not open fully. Visually inspected the electronic throttle control motor wiring harness and found no obvious signs of damage. Used a set of fused jumper wires to apply voltage and ground to the electronic throttle control motor and found the motor was responsive, but the throttle plate did not fully open. These test results verified the electronic throttle control motor was faulty.
